Responsibilities

• Work closely with developer team to implement tools for:

• Faster and more efficient deployment / release
• Automated software development life cycle, including continuous build, testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Troubleshoot stability and performance issues related to the application / infrastructure

• Write readable and clean code
• Design, maintain and constantly optimize the cloud infrastructure, especially its scalability, efficiency, and security

Requirements

• Able to demonstrate a solid computer science understanding regardless school degree / background
• Proficient in working with Linux environment
• Proficient in version control system e.g., Github and Gitlab
• Experience in AWS or other similar cloud services,
• Experience in configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Knowledge in open-sourced DevOps tools e.g., Jenkins and Docker is desirable
• Familiarity with Python development environment, experience in Flask is desirable
• Full-stack engineering experience is desirable
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to details and think outside-the-box mentality
• Open-minded, eager to improve the product quality, open to challenges and learning new technologies
• Able to work independently, good command of English, proficiency in Chinese will be an advantage

Imsight Medical Tech Inc. has been voted as one of the top 50 A.I. companies in China (2017) and Best Software Start-up in ICT awards (2018). It is incubated by the Medical Image Analysis laboratory at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). The company was founded by a group of professors and PhDs from CUHK together and former VP from Fortune 500 Company. Imsight focuses on developing large-scale A.I. platforms for automated processing of medical images. Our first product called LungSight is an automatic early lung cancer detection software based on state-of-the-art A.I. technology. The product has been integrated with multiple 3A Hospitals in Mainland China and will be one of the first A.I. CFDA approved products in the market. Shenzhen Capital Group led a RMB60 million round A investment in ImSight Medical in late March this year. In its initial operation period in 2017, the startup received funding from the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Commission and RMB20 million investment from Lenovo Capital and Incubator Group. The company is expanding rapidly with offices in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Beijing of China (more than 60 full time staff) while established collaborations with more than 50 hospitals and two A.I. research labs.
