Job Description

Functions and duties

To ensure smooth handling of daily sales activities for the Hong Kong office through the following areas:

  • Formulate and implement business strategies to achieve the objectives and tasks assigned by Regional Sales Manager APAC - Charter Cargo Operations, Vice President - APAC and Headquarter (HQ);
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account management plan for achieving sales targets, increasing market share for designated segment, creating Company value, enhancing corporate brand, and surpassing customer expectation;
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers;
  • Identify and recognize tactical priority in business development according to the company strategy and sales policy;
  • Conduct research to identify new markets, customers, niches and customer needs;
  • Monitor, analyse, and report market situation in the assigned sales area, identify and recommend new business opportunities for specific accounts;
  • Establish analytical and forecast system for well-monitoring the customers’ profiles and performance fulfilment, forecast for upcoming business trend;
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients in APAC region;
  • Promote the company’s services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives;
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines;
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc;

Requirements     

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales and Business Development field in airline or logistics industry
  • Experience in Sales and Business Development Management is preferred
  • Proven sales track record
  • Good understanding of basic principles of market economy, logistics and international trade. Knowledge in regulations and practices relevant to the air freight industry is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and sound negotiation skills in dealing with different types of customers, across different functions and nationalities.
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin. Proficiency in English language. Previous exposure to an English-speaking working environment is desirable
  • Adaptability to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Asia
  • Pleasant, open-minded, pro-active, result-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (Salesforce)
