Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for sourcing of materials, products and services to drive continual cost competitiveness enhancement for the business
• Monitor key materials, select and negotiate price/terms with suppliers, and follow up supply plans to meet purchasing and production requirements
• Source and explore new materials/products, develop new supply channels to increase growth opportunities
• Manage suppliers to ensure fulfillment of quality, delivery and service standards in accordance to contract/agreement, conduct regular audits to ensure compliance of quality standards
• Initiate opportunities to reduce overall purchasing costs
• Maintain strong network/relationship with suppliers to secure supply and terms that are at the company’s best interest
• Review and establish policies and standards to be in line with the company’s management and quality system
• Assist in month-end reporting and analysis, and take up ad hoc project as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• University degree in business related disciplines
• 8 years working experience in food industry (experience of sourcing from China / OEM will be an advantage), with at least 3 years in managerial level
• Analytical, sensitive to numbers and change in global/macro environment
• Strong problem-solving, influencing and negotiation skills
• Strong business acumen, with excellent communication skills at all levels
• Computer literate, with hands-on experience on SAP, fluent in English and Mandarin
