Job Description

We are currently looking for a high caliber to join our Commercial team as “Customer Dedicated Quality Auditor".

 

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for ensuring that all of our company locations are delivering to the agreed quality standards for client company. It will be critical that any quality issues are highlighted immediately and proactively, so that corrective actions can be initiated before the problem becomes critical.
  • The incumbent will need to work very closely with the client company's operational team as well as with our company teams so that the requirements of client company are correctly and precisely communicated in a timely manner. Proactive audits that are announced and unannounced will be required.  Based on the feedback the incumbent will also need to work with the respective operational teams, to provide guidance and recommendations as to how the unit is able to achieve the quality standards.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Establish and maintain communications with both client company in-flight services teams as well as with all Gate Gourmet stations where client company is being served
  • Develop new relationships with customers and internally across departmental lines
  • Obtain operational and culinary feedback from both parties and work through all of the issues so as to ensure that all issues are being addressed in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular audits as requested either by client company or Gate Gourmet
  • Review Crew Reports for all stations as well as Reflex scores and identify potential problem areas and proactively work through all of the issues
  • Proactively identify opportunities where Gate Gourmet is able to improve processes, and service offerings and raise these issues so that these can be evaluated and when feasible initiatives can be launched
  • Ensure Gate Gourmet and customer relationships and overall company objectives are being maintained and achieved
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and monitor plans and actions for each of the individual units
  • Manage and improve the system for customer performance evaluation and system performance.  Identify the root causes of the customer issues by unit and push performance improvements in a multi-unit environment.
  • Understand airline and customer service level agreements
  • Maintain key performance indicators
  • Recommend and implement corrective and remedial action to improve customer relationships
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance in airline processes, operational improvements leading to cost savings initiatives for both parties
  • Co-Manage new station and new service start-ups as assigned

 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Degree holder in Hospitality or Business Management or related disciplines
  • Up to 5 Years’ experience in either airline catering or complex food service industry preferred
  • Proven experience and ability to understand needs of each customer and ability to customize and negotiate proposals linked to needs of customer in sales and customer service industry
  • Culinary training would be an asset
  • Basic legal skills for contract management/negotiation
  • Proven presentation, communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to handle a stressful working environment with extended working hours.
  • Culturally sensitive with a keen understanding of cultural variants
  • Excellent command of written English and Chinese, Good in Cantonese. Proficiency in other languages is a plus
  • Adherence to time deadline
  • Independent, self-motivated and proactive with service mindset and customer focus
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Mobile for business trips
