Being part of a growing team, you are a key driver to achieve assigned KPIs in PR area. You will lead projects, manage event and be part of decision making team in managing the PR function of Viu. The role will allow you to operate in diverse Asian markets and partner with different business teams to meet corporate objectives under challenging environment.

The Job

• Manage media/trade partner relationships strategically to achieve business objectives
• Work closely with internal stakeholders for alignment and drive results
• Develop PR materials, press release, speaking notes for senior executives with compelling story to tell
• Research on marketing data and monitoring competitors’ activities
• Work closely with PR agency for media pitches, project management, PR activities etc.
• Actively engage, systematically expand and foster existing and new networks and relationships.
• Initiate new opportunities for company exposure, e.g., trade show, PR events etc.

The Person

• At least 8 years  relevant  experience in PR, preferably gained in media industry and/or MNC background
• Financial and digital literacy
• Ability to present issues under complex situations and/or relationships
• Take initiative and ownership to try new things, challenge standards and approaches to solving issues
• Handle all forms of presentation professionally and with high standards
• Be assertive and persuasive; Good  judgment to deal with mission critical situations and make timely decision
• Excellent team player, independent and accountable
• Deadline and details oriented; able to work under time pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
• Candidates with less experience might be considered for the Manager position
