Responsibilities:

The job-holder will be responsible for organising HKTDC’s sales and marketing programs and activities for promoting the advertising, design and marketing services industries. The major responsibilities are:

• Oversee and execute promotional activities, including exhibition, conference and business mission, etc
• Recruit quality Hong Kong and overseas exhibitors/delegates/participants to join local/overseas events
• Conduct sales activities and provide follow-up services including handling enquiries and logistics arrangement
• Identify and solicit partners/sponsors' support for local exhibition and conference
• Understand the business matching requirements of all recruited participants and line up business matching appointments
• Liaise with external and internal parties, including local and overseas trade/industry associations, other organisers and co-organisers, to develop and implement the projects
• Provide on-site support and other administrative support when necessary

Requirements: 

• A recognized university degree with 5 years’ working experience, preferably with sizable organizations, in any of the following areas: sales and marketing; exhibition/event organisation or public/corporate relations etc.
• Strong inclination and understanding of Hong Kong economy, trade and business arena covering various Hong Kong industries; knowledge of design and/or marketing industry will be an advantage
• Mature with superior skills in sales, marketing and communication
• Self-motivated and outgoing with good project planning ability
• Innovative, flexible and be able to deliver under time and resource pressure
• A strong team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua

Remuneration and Benefits:

The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
