Responsibilities:

• Arrange and follow up materials and production samples for customers’ approval, which include order process monitoring, sample delivery and garment sample inspection before dispatch, etc.
• Work with appropriate vendors to ensure best price offer.
• Monitor factory production schedule to ensure on time delivery and sustain high quality product.
• Update the WIP (work-in-process) report to related parties/departments.
• Handle enquiries and orders with fabric mill, garment vendors, etc.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Textile & Clothing or related discipline
• At least 5 to 8 years working experience in merchandising field, majority in Knit
• Strong experience in Ladieswear will be advantage
• Good knowledge of garment, fabrics and trims for US and Asia market
• Very strong in costing, product development and production follow up
• Able to independently handle garment development and production with overseas buyers
• Willing to travel abroad including China or other offshore countries occasionally
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
• Proficiency in MS applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Chinese word processing
• Candidate will less experience will be considered as Merchandiser
• Immediately available is preferred
