Job Purpose:

The Senior Programme Coordinator (SPC) in ERP Team is to lead a team of staff in managing and coordinating overseas emergency relief & institutional preparedness programmes, as well as relevant capacity & system building exercises in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities: 

• To prepare strategic plan and annual plan on overseas emergency relief and institutional preparedness programmes.
• To assist head of department in formulation of policies, operational plans and resources planning.
• To lead a team of staff to monitor and drive the implementation of HKRC projects according to approved plans and budgets.
• To act as Operation In-charge for international emergencies

Requirements: 

• University Degree Holder, preferably in Development Studies and/or Social Science Discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experiences in managing disaster management and/or development programs and at least 2 years experiences at managerial grade
• Experience in working in multi-cultural context a definite asset.
• Strong skills in program management in social service & knowledge of humanitarian approaches and methodologies.
• Self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, independent and able to work in a multi-disciplinary team and under pressure
• Demonstrate leadership and able to work in and with a team
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
