Job Description

Mission: Drive business performance by providing key leadership and strategy to develop and grow MGA Entertainment’s international business. The VP, Asia Pacific Sales is also responsible for developing and implementing Key Account, distributor and non-traditional channel sales development strategies (including e-commerce) that support the attainment of MGA’s international retail sales objectives and franchise priorities.  This leader will also deliver best in class retail solutions for MGA brand throughout Asia.

 

Position Requirements: 

Education/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related area required, MBA highly preferred. 
  • 15+ years of sales and marketing management experience, preferably in the Toy Industry.
  • Experience with specific sales funnel management and structuring sales quota and revenue expectations.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience working with large and diverse global user groups.
  • Strong planning and analysis skills to perform quantitative data analysis.
  • A change agent with highly evolved influencing skills.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for managing projects to conclusion on time.
  • Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills.

 

 Skills/Knowledge/Ability:

  • Knowledge of kids, toys and entertainment industry.
  • Must have strong relationships with retailers.
  • Experienced senior sales executive with proven ability to deliver results and lead a business development team in the Asia Pacific Region.
  • Knowledge and experience working with multiple channels and accounts.
  • Experience dealing with retailers, distributors and licensee at a senior level in multiple regions around the world including: Asia.
  • Proven ability to develop channel and market specific sales strategies that deliver exceptional growth.
  • Strong quantitative skill set.
  • Strong computer based skill set across multiple platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong networking capabilities (Relationship building).
  • Ability to stay focused in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment.
