Job Description

We are looking for a high caliber Sales Representative to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global FMCG business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Schick, Banana Boat, PlayTex, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree… just to name a few!).  The role is to achieve sales target & expand distribution of Edgewell Personal Care Products to the General Trade customers & execute marketing programs to trade level.

 

Detailed Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the business of assigned accounts/area/district/wholesalers and meet the sales target of the team
  • Lead the growth on assigned accounts/area/district/wholesalers
  • Design call route and call plan to achieve pre-set sales, distribution and merchandising targets
  • Expand the distributions of the company products in accountable area/district
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships with existing accounts
  • Identify and establish contact with potential customers proactively
  • Work with customers closely to maximize in-store share of shelf and display
  • Resolve customers’ concerns, issues and complaints
  • Handle promotion arrangement internally and externally
  • Execute sales forecasting and ensure proper execution of pricing, promotional programs and channel pricing
  • Regular trade visit to audit in-store execution of the promotions
  • Monitor and report the market dynamics and competitors activities and identify business threats and opportunities
  • Handle customers orders by preparing Order Request Blank (ORB) form
  • Handle defective products exchange
  • Assit Finance Dept to follow up customers’ overdue payment, and also debit / credit note clearance
  • Manage trade inventory and goods availability
  • Control inventory, maintenance, operation, and other matters related to our Sales Van
  • Organize and execute promoter program if required
  • Other ad hoc assignment designated by superiors

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of related sales experience
  • Knowledge of the local general trade market 
  • Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation and analytical skill
  • Computer literacy and familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in spoken Cantonese (other languages skill , e.g. English & Putonghua would be advantage)
  • With Driving License preferred
  • Happy with outdoor work
  • Proficiency in Chinese Word Processing preferred
