In this role, you will provide accounting support to Site Controller and other accountants within the department. Key daily invoices to the accounting system, ensure files are completed and maintained as needed, handle account payable and treasury duties, and assist accounting personnel. Support accounting operations by filing documents, reconciling statements and running software programs.

Main responsibilities:

• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g. disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable). Enter data into computer system using defined computer programs.
• Support Site Controller in month-end closing including but not limited to preparing bank reconciliation, review of invoicing files, intercompany / balances reconciliation, prepare various schedules and reports etc.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
• Deliver accurate and timely submission of all tasks and reports assigned.
• Assist in preparation of budget and forecasting.

Job requirements:

• University or higher diploma graduate major in Accounting or Commerce
• Up to 3 years relevant working experience
• English, Cantonese and Mandarin (verbal and written)
• Organised and planned approach to work, the ability to organise own work, attention for details
