Job Description
Duties:
- Report to and be the back-up support for Senior Business Analyst
- Support Supervisor to manage projects including financial system implementation, system support and streamline report production process
- Monitor and maintain system performance and security
- Maintain operation manuals, user guidelines, training materials and other system documents and provide training to end users
- Provide data extracts and analytical report based on user’s requirement
- Assist Supervisor to prepare financial presentation documents
- Assist in budgeting process including data loading, providing explanatory analysis and monitoring budget and forecast for strategic and operational decisions
- Conduct Business Planning, provide analysis report for management business review and decision making
- Assist in achieving and setting business KPIs
- Perform any other legitimate duties assigned by the supervisor and management
Requirements:
- Understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army
- Degree holder/Higher Diploma in Accounting/Finance
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as Business Analyst with strong technical background
- Work experience in audit, accounting, business consultancy is an advantage
- Good analytical skills and financial modeling exposure is a plus
- High proficiency in Oracle's EBS Financials Module and O365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
- Experience in business systems, e.g. Great Plain - POS, Oracle iExpense, inventory ERP or Visualization tools is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of TSQL, PL/SQL, VBA, Linux Script is a plus
- Experience in system implementation and business process automation
- Project management and time management skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken. Mandarin is an advantage
