We are now seeking to recruit a high caliber Senior Human Resources Generalist in our Hong Kong office. The successful incumbent needs to be independent in performing professional tasks associated with compensation, recruitment employee relations and so on. He/she will need to support HR initiatives including developing and implementing of Human Resources policies and procedures. 

• Under minimal supervision, performs professional tasks associated with compensation, employee relations, benefits, talent management and training;
• Analyze research data and observations across the organization, to provide responsive approaches to employee relation’s issues, and policies with a focus on innovation, expertise and effectiveness;
• Responsible to spot trends and identify emerging needs and address them with innovation HR program, policies, tools and processes, in order to simplify, standardize and maximize the efficiency;
• Maintain good relationship with all levels of employees with a customer centric mindset; partner and support managers on people matters to ensure UL’s polices are consistently implemented across the organization and multiple countries, where necessary;
• Develop in-depth knowledge of legislation related to Labor Law in Asia Pacific; 
• Provide coaching and performance management to HR professionals.

Job requirements:

• Degree holder in Human Resources Management or equivalent plus generally five years related of Human Resources Experience;
• Comprehensive knowledge of ordinance/labor law (Asia Pacific knowledge preferred) as well as market knowledge in respect to turnover, benefits, taxation etc.;
• Intermediate to high level Excel and Office products including web-based tools and online applications competencies;
• Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are key to success, including strong listening, persuasion and facilitation skills with all levels of employees;
• Require the ability to be highly collaborative and work with local and regional teams both within and outside of the HR function;
• Apply judgment and act according to the UL mission and standards of ethics and integrity.
