Key Responsibilities

1. To identify finance training gaps in Hong Kong and trends of other international financial centres;

2. To develop finance training course contents for financial practitioners through gauging industry demand, defining learning objectives, scoping curriculum development requirements;

3. To plan the development of a solid pipeline of curriculum developers, faculty members and subject matter experts to support the roll-out of finance training courses in Hong Kong; and

4. To support the working groups of the FSDC on planning and implementing human capital development initiatives.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in education, finance, economics or related disciplines;

2. At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in the educational sector, preferably with experience in content and curriculum development;

3. Experience in the financial services industry, the finance training sector or at professional examination bodies in finance is an advantage;

4. Excellent research, analytical and report writing skills; and

5. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and fluency in Putonghua is an advantage.

Terms of Appointment

Appointment will be offered on a six-month fixed term contract.

The Financial Services Development Council (“FSDC”) was established by the HKSAR Government in January 2013. The FSDC engages the financial services industry of Hong Kong and formulates proposals to promote the further development of the industry and map out the strategic direction for the development of Hong Kong as an international financial centre.
