Our client is looking for Senior Risk Manager as below.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the execution of risk management related tasks and initiatives as part of the Bank’s risk management function
• Monitor and control the risk exposures and limits across the Bank’s risk categories such as credit, market, ALM, information security and operational
• Prepare periodic reports on the key risk metrics and report to relevant committees and management
• Review and update risk management and related internal policies and procedures
• Provide support in investment products due diligence and review product risk ratings
• Assess and review new product and business risk exposures
• Establish and maintain close working relationships with other departments
• Promote and develop risk culture and risk awareness among the Bank’s staff

Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience in risk management or related roles at a Bank in Hong Kong
• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, takes initiative and able to drive tasks with minimum supervision 
• Willingness to learn and experience new areas related to risk management
• Working knowledge of Hong Kong banking industry and regulations
• Computer and data handling skills such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel VBA, Bloomberg, etc.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Japanese speaking is an advantage
• Immediate availability is preferred
