We are looking to hire an Analyst for our investment team based in Quarry Bay (HK). The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical skillset to be able to assist with and create financial models required to accurately assess investment opportunities. The Analyst will be working side-by-side with top professionals in a close-knit team with a history of making successful investments.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting in identifying and originating new deals for our investment portfolio;

• Creating and preparing investment materials including presentations, investment memorandums and investment analysis;

• Building and presenting financial models and analysis;

• Assisting in negotiations, term sheets, legal discussions, due diligence and deal execution;

• Conducting primary research on areas of potential investment focus and monitoring the financial markets in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai for potential acquisition opportunities;

• Compiling performance data, performing portfolio analysis and benchmarking;

• Participating in all aspects of the business including meetings with senior professionals and industry conferences;

• Liaise with other PE or financial institutions for potential fund-to-fund or co-investment opportunities, develop co-investing relationships for the benefit of the Group;

• Provide support to the team on an ad-hoc basis as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s quantitative/finance degree (e.g. finance, economics, accounting, financial mathematics, and engineering);

• 1-3 years of work experience in investment banking or private equity;

• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Point;

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English;

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills;

• Ability to proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously;

• A strong team player, able to build effective internal and external relationships.
