Responsibilities

• Assist in the review of loan applications and negotiation with clients
• Prepare tentative term sheet and perform preliminary analysis on loan structure and risks & returns of the proposed loan
• Perform KYC and AML checking on borrowers and documentation
• Work closely with internal & external counsels to negotiate and prepare loan documents
• Assist to prepare financial models and credit report to management committees for approval, highlighting critical commercial, compliance and legal risks
• Liaise with relevant external & internal parties on execution of documents, fulfillment of loan requirements, delivery of collateral, preparation of payment schedule and the charge or release of listed or unlisted securities and real estate
• Perform regular monitoring and stress testing of loan portfolio, expected loss assessment reporting, such as collateral value, borrowers/ guarantors’ financial status

Requirements

• University graduate in business, accounting & finance, risk management or a related discipline, CPA or CFA qualifications will take priority
• Possess 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in structured finance, corporate banking or financial services industry, preferably in financial analysis, securities and real estate lending, and banking business
• Candidates with more experience will be considered at Assistant Vice President rank
• Proficient in MS Office and
• Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
• Proactive and able to work independently under pressure
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is preferred
