Sha Tin College is a member of the English Schools Foundation and was established in 1983. Sha Tin College is very well established with an outstanding reputation. The expectations of students, parents and staff are understandably high. As an international secondary school offering IGCSE and IB MYP and IBDP/CP, we are based in the New Territories of Hong Kong. We serve a stable and established community with over 1200 students on roll.

Responsibilities

The school is seeking to appoint a Resources Administrator to assist the operation of the resources and IT office including resources procurement & delivery, inventory check & record, reprographic and mailing service. The post holder will need to undertake stock management for educational resources items, reprographic, display and printing tasks and to provide relevant administrative support for school events as necessary.

Requirements

The candidate is expected to have experience in:

  • working in a busy print room
  • scheduling and producing a variety of reprographic requests
  • operating a range of reprographic technologies and equipment in the related field
  • PC computer product such as Illustrator, InDesign and/or Photoshop
  • producing a wide range of print materials including posters, mail merges, booklets, cards and laminated information
  • working independently, prioritising workloads and communicating effectively with staff


Sha Tin College is a learning community and you will be required to work with students and staff in this environment. The successful candidate must have the following skills:

  • the ability to communicate with students and adults, with a very good command of written and spoken English
  • a willingness to learn as the right person will be offered training and may need to learn to use new software
  • the ability to work independently as well as in a team.


Appropriate qualifications and previous experience of working in an educational setting would be an advantage. The successful applicant must be able to work flexible hours as needed from time to time.

This is a full-time position. The position is immediately available.
