Position

For this particular teaching role, you are responsible for a personalised teaching of English and school admission tests. Main duties include, but are not limited to:

• Teach English grammar through interactive teaching methods;
• Develop students’ English reading, writing and speaking skills;
• Prepare students for English proficiency tests for US and UK boarding school admission;
• Stimulate students’ intellectual curiosity through the process of learning English, develop critical thinking skills and nurture creativity;
• Deliver English teaching over traditional and non-traditional platforms from grammar exercises, literature appreciation, storytelling, to debates over current affairs.  

Requirements

• Degree in any discipline from a reputable US or UK university.
• Solid career history of teaching English to primary and/or secondary students under different classroom, extracurricular and online settings.
• 1- 2 years of teaching experience at US or UK boarding schools is an advantage.
• Love of the English language; excellent grasp of English grammar and writing skills.
• Passionate about teaching, motivating and mentoring youngsters; innovative and constantly experimenting with new pedagogies.
• Broad liberal arts background; well read, thoughtful, interesting; able to connect the dots.
