Overall Responsibilities:

• Support the sales staff with technical and financial information
• Provide engineering with all available information necessary to start a job
• Assist the sales staff with customer visits and presentations
• Assist sales with writing quotations when requested.
• Maintain quote file records in accordance with ISO 9000 procedures
• Interface with other Lanco division's Concepting Departments on technical and financial issues
• Provide the conceptual ideas in 2D/3D layout
• Cost estimation
• Conduct analysis of manual operations using industry accepted methods
• Participate in the Company Idea System making continuous improvements as required.

 Special Educational or Other Requirements:

• Associate Degree (minimum) (B.S. preferred) in an engineering discipline
• Practical experience and knowledge of machine design
• Familiarity with assembly automation and related process technologies
• Ability to work with CAD systems, word processing, and spreadsheet programs
• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• Innovative and good business sense
• Good command of English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin
• Willing to travel in China mainland and in Asia
