1. Network Engineer

Duties

1.  assist in the installation, maintenance and operation of the campus networking equipment including Wi-Fi, Campus routers, LAN switches and any other LAN equipment and tools within campus and off-campus offices;
2.  assist in the installation and administration of various network system, i.e. Radius servers, DHCP servers, Network Management servers etc.;
3.  assist in the installation, maintenance and operation of Voice and Unified Communication System (IP Telephony System);
4.  liaise with related parties on the installation and maintenance of structured cabling system and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS);
5.  handle network issues reported by users, user requests and enquiries;
6.  perform scheduled maintenance work during non-office-hours;
7.  perform 7x24 after-office-hour standby network service support on a roster basis when required; and
8.  perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office or his delegate

Requirements

1.  possess a recognized degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline;
2.  have preferably one or more years of relevant post-qualification working experience in the information technology service industry, especially in administration support for various network services and network equipment. Candidate with working experience on administering network equipment from Cisco / H3C / Huawei / Juniper / Aruba will have advantages.
3.  Preferably have experience on installation and administration of large-scale Wi-Fi network and IP Telephony Systems, DHCP and radius authentication platform.
4.  have good communication skills; and
5.  be proficient in written and spoken English and preferably be fluent in written and spoken Chinese, including Putonghua

2. Net Developer

Duties:

a)    undertake the development of mobile and enterprise web applications including programming, testing, implementation and related support tasks;

b)    prepare design documentations, functional specifications and user guides related to the applications developed;

c)    provide end-user training and technical support on the use of applications developed;

d)    assist the Supervisor with day-to-day tasks and projects; and

e)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office or his/her delegates.

Requirements

a)    a recognized degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines; and

b)    at least 3 years of experience in server-side web application development using C#, ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework on .NET Framework/.NET Core; less experienced candidates who demonstrated solid hands-on skills on industrial or open-source projects will also be considered; and

c)    at least 1 year experience in client-side web application development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap; and

d)    experience in developing and utilizing RESTful web services; and

e)    experience in SQL and relational databases like MS SQL, Oracle or MySQL; and

f)     solid understanding of HTTP; and

g)    experience in Git will be an advantage; and

h)    experience in web application development using Angular, React or Vue.js will be an advantage; and

i)      experience in mobile application development using on iOS & Android or other cross platform development frameworks such as React Native, Flutter or Xamarin will be an advantage; and

j)      experience in using Docker will be an advantage; and

k)    good interpersonal skills and systematic problem-solving ability; and

l)      proficiency in written and spoken English, and preferably fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and/or Putonghua); and

m)   the ability to work under pressure and be proactive.

3. Java Programmer

Qualifications

(a)      a recognised degree/higher diploma/in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline;

(b)     at least three years’ relevant working experience in applications development after graduation;

(c)    substantial experience in developing and implementing web applications using Java language on J2EE platform, relational database such as Oracle, SQL Server,  MySQL and preferably with knowledge of Spring, Hibernate and Javascript(ES6) jQuery;

(d)    familiar with development tools such as Eclipse, Maven, Subversion, Git.

Duties

(a)     gather and analyse user requirements, perform system design, development, testing, implementation and related system support tasks;

(b)     prepare related system documentation; and

(c)     perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office or his/her delegates.
