Our Opportunity

Our client is a Global Insurance Firm with strong presence in Hong Kong. Due to an urgent need for critical projects, we are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Life team.

 

 

Your Role

 

• Work with subject matter experts from various functions to define and document user requirements for mission critical projects like online portal, workflow and process automation to enhance customer and intermediary experience
• Assist in mapping as-is process, identify gaps and perform impact analysis
• Support business owner(s) and take the lead to identity business scenarios and acceptance test criteria, conduct/ monitor quality assurance tests for system enhancement or new system releases, prepare and report test results
• Representing the interest of different business units by aligning the business needs with the capabilities delivered by IT and follow up on required tasks according to agreed schedule. Act as liaison between business units and IT
• Provide training and coaching to junior staff(s) to uplift their technical skills
• Coordinate and handle special projects as requested

 

 

 

Your Skills and Experience

 

• University graduate with minimum of 5+ years’ relevant experience in Business Analyst role preferably in insurance industry
• Experience in Agency or broker portal development project, life insurance policy admin system enhancement and/or levy would be an advantage
• Experience and knowledge in insurance products, operations, process and complicate testing execution and support is a must
• Good analytical and problem solving skills, and disciplined with project scheduling
• Able to clearly articulate business processes and ideas verbally and in written English and Chinese
• Strong self-initiative with good time management skills to handle multiple tasks, and able to work independently
