Responsibilities

As a member of the Web Development team and under the Group IT leadership, you will:

• Drive the development of our corporate website https://www.wizconnected.com/:
  • Extend the Pro and OEM sections
  • Ensure the SEO is on point to improve our ranking in search results
  • Handle multiple languages: currently supporting English (US/UK/AU), German, French and Spanish (ES/MX) – Italian, Dutch, Russian and Portuguese to come
  • Improve the loading time regardless of the location
  • Monitor the traffic, gather analytics and provide insights to help with decision making

  • Put measures in place to protect the website against common attacks

• Work hand in hand with the Creative team as well as the DevOps team to get the best of both worlds: a blazing-fast nice-looking website
• Collaborate tightly with the Marketing and Product teams to make sure the product listing and technical specifications are always up-to-date

Requirements

• Degree holder with a minimum of 5 years in software engineering and/or web development
• Strong awareness of the latest technologies in web and cloud development
• Outstanding expertise in PHP 7, HTML 5, CSS 3, Javascript
• Good knowledge of Bootstrap 4, Symfony 4, jQuery
• Exposure to git-based workflows
• Basic command of design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Knowledgeable regarding fraud and website security issues
• Ability to work under a tight schedule, fast-changing environment
• Capable of demonstrating flexibility, sense of responsibilities and collaborative mindset
• Excellent English level is mandatory
