Job Description

This role reports to the Group Chief Digital Officer. 

About Digital @ FWD

We are responsible for FWD’s transformation both externally for customers and internally for our employees and shaping FWD’s internal and external efforts to enhance our customer-led and digital-enabled experiences and offerings. Key objective is to achieve FWD’s vision of changing the way people feel about insurance through digital disruption and innovation.

We are strongly interested in a candidate who view innovation as a way of life, with a "Cloud-first" and “Data-driven” mentality. Additionally, scope of digital is rapidly expanding and knowledge in following field will be a plus: digital partnership ecosystem, data analytics, DMP/DSP, APIs, CEO, application development, DevOps, digital UI/UX design, blockchain and AI/Machine learning.

The Job:

  • Develop ideas and strategies for innovative digital initiatives
  • Carryout research in digital and latest market trend
  • Identify market opportunities in the area through researching and basic SWOT analysis on digital capabilities in the insurance industry.
  • Manage digital projects and collaborate with stakeholders to maximize the efficiency
  • Take up ad hoc responsibilities and duties as assigned

The Person:

  • Pursuing degrees in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology, Business with technology focused or related discipline preferred
  • Self-starter with a start-up mindset and able to navigate through ambiguous situation
  • Passion for digital application in business who thinks creatively and desire to learn
  • Analytical and quantitative abilities
  • Collaborators who is client-focused with strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Previous exp. around digital or market trend research will be a plus
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint & Excel) and database skills
