Job Description:

• Contribute to the success of the Department through developing and driving seasonal global strategies for category/class that meet or exceed the Division and Business Unit's financial goals.
• Provide analysis to support the development of Department seasonal global strategies that meet financial targets.
• Work closely with Brand Directors to create seasonal global assortments that support collection point of view within brand aesthetic.
• Rank styles based on historical and current product performance and identify redundancies in the product assortment.
• Provide information to develop key concepts, key items, promotional strategies and global assortments that are commercially viable and provide exciting store experiences.
• Understand product trends, historical data and departmental input at category/class level in order to manage in-season opportunities or risks.
• Understand competitive global environment; proactively see market knowledge through exposure to competitive retail outlets.
• Manage new store opening stock allocations
• Manage the stock in and out of the warehouse

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree required with a minimum of 4 -6 years of hands-on planning and allocations experience.
• The candidate must possess strong analytical skills as well as a strong proficiency working with numbers.
• This person must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, coupled with strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to follow projects/tasks to completion.
• Advanced PC skills required; including experience with Word and Excel applications specifically.
• The candidate must enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and must have the ability to work with all levels within the organization.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with members of cross-functional teams (Retail Operations, Projects, PD, Supply Chain, Marketing)
• Be confident and bale to influence others to achieve results.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English is a must
