Job Description:

· To edit English subtitles to retaining the content and flavour of the source material, while ensuring that subtitles stay synchronised with the soundtrack and allow adequate access to picture and graphics

· To proofread and re-edit existing files in line with client/format specifications

· To carry out all necessary research, maintaining the factual and grammatical accuracy of subtitle content

· To provide feedback to the translators

· To work effectively to deadlines

Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty proficiently. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· Bachelor degree

· English native speaker

· Excellent English reading, proofreading and writing skills

· Understanding of demographics and culture as related to language

· Excellent computer skills
