The Direct Dialogue Recruitment and Training Officer’s fundamental task is to provide professional advice and strategies in new staff recruitment and staff retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the full spectrum of HR functions including but not limited to phone interviews, Conducting face-to-face interviews, staff training, development, retention plan and organizing team activities
  • Recruit candidates using different ways, such as social media, job fair and street road-show
  • Support the implementation of recruitment strategies and initiatives
  • Report to line manager and coordinators on a regular basis 
  • Ensures all Human Resource policies and standards are implemented and being complied with.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for different areas in the Direct Dialogue Programme

Requirements:

  • Awareness of environmental issues and Greenpeace’s commitments
  • Holds 2 years or more human resources or related experience
  • Ability to meet recruitment targets set by Greenpeace
  • Holds staff training experiences
  • Generate creative training
  • Planning and strategic thinking
  • Excellent recruitment skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised, carry out work with a high level of professionalism, reliability, and punctuality
  • Experiences in working for other NGOs are ideal
  • Environmental knowledge/qualifications would be an advantage but not required
  • Fluent Chinese, English, and Cantonese speaker, good writing in Chinese and English
