Reports to : General Manager Project Horizon
We are looking for a high calibre individual to join our Finance Department to help with the Horizon Project, a corporate-wide initiative to modernise the way Cathay performs its Finance and Procurement activities through the implementation of end-to-end process improvements enabled by the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
As part of Project Horizon team, you will work in collaboration with other members of the project team to enable changes to process and people to allow the modernization to be realized.
Key Responsibilities:
As our Change Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing adoption and application of new finance and procurement process. The appointee will work with project team members and key users of the ERP to:
- Guide development of stakeholder registers
- Plan communication to meet stakeholder needs
- Coaching project team members and line managers to enhance change management understanding and capabilities
- Act as the point of contact between ERP system integrators and project team on change management
Other principal accountabilities include:
- Establishment a cohesive change strategy; appropriate capabilities, organizational design and governance processes; effective tracking of impact and results; and adjustment of the execution approach in response to program performance
- Increasing alignment and engagement of all stakeholders as the deployment progresses
Continuous awareness of readiness, risk and resistance; development and deployment of appropriate responses
Requirements:
- University degree holder.
- Minimum 10 years experience in change management in multi-disciplinary projects.
- A solid understanding of leading strategic change, experience of at least one change management approach (such as Prosci ADKAR)
- Familiarity with the limitations of programmatic approaches/models and demonstrated experience in working ‘beyond models’ with the specific characteristics of complex organizations
- Exceptional communications and stakeholder engagement skills, written and verbal
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Flexible and adaptable with high tolerance of working in ambiguous situations and managing multiple and changing priorities
- Demonstrated track record in problem solving, root cause identification, performance management
- Strong team player able to achieve results collaboratively with and through others
- Fluency in English required, fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin highly favoured
