Our client, a leading bank in HK, is now looking for high caliber to lead its Compliance Department. 

Responsibilities

• Perform anti-money laundering (AML) on-going monitoring functions and conduct reviews for the enhancement of the AML functions of the Bank and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Handle enquiries from regulatory authorities
• Ensure comprehensive documentation is maintained for the reviews conducted and for he corrective action plans.
• Ensure recommendations/controls that have been put in place remain effective to address the issues noted.
• Assist in implementing/disseminating the Group policies and regulatory requirements of anti-money laundering across the Bank, including overseas branches and subsidiaries.
• Assist in preparing suspicious transaction reports and advising frontline business units on suspicious transactions reporting requirements.

Requirements

• University degree in a related discipline
• Min. 8 years' relevant experience, with exposure to AML compliance / audit / risk management an advantage
• Good knowledge of regulations / guidelines relating to anti-money laundering
• Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese

      (candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager/AM)
