Reporting to Head of Pan-Asia operational risk department located in Tokyo and locally to Asia Pacific credit risk department, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing and ensuring risk management at the firm level. Scope of risk coverage includes all business lines, with primary focus on Institutional Securities, Sales and Trading.
• Promoting awareness of operational risk and risk management best practices.
• Capturing and analysing operational loss data, and as needed, advise the Business Area in developing effective mitigation steps and controls.
• Analysing and reporting of firm-level risk themes, risk levels and focus action items.
• Projecting based involvement on risk management initiatives.

To be a successful candidate, leading a team of 3-4 people, you will have:

• A degree or above in Accounting/Finance/Economic or related discipline
• At least 8 years experiences in Operational Risk Management
• Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced and multinational environment
• Detail-minded with strong analytical skill
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good command of written and spoken English
