As part of the expansion, we are looking for a high calibre, energetic and experienced candidate to join our team in Hong Kong.

The successful candidate will need to work across a fairly broad stack of mobile technologies (iOS, Android, WinPhone, HTML5) and back ends (Node, php, java) to build prototype mobile learning applications and services.

You will be familiar with learning technologies, with an understanding of instructional design, user experience and related pedagogical issues.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop and maintain mobile learning applications and / or websites.
2. Work with team-mates of different disciplines to refine, and improve apps
3. Keep up to date with emerging technologies, looking for solid learning applications for them
4. Create and maintain a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating working practices, having code reviews and improving products.
5. Make use of object oriented design methodology and industry standard design principles, frameworks and patterns
6. Participate in needs assessment activities such as leading focus groups and research initiatives to ensure system usability and identify future needs
7. Manage project status information in the form of briefings, project update meetings, written, electronic and graphic reports.
8. Work with ambiguity in a complex, fast-paced environment.
9. Ability to think strategically and systematically.

Qualifications

1. University graduate in computer science or information technology.
2. Minimum two years of relevant experience for web application development.
3. Experience designing and developing mobile learning applications. Experience in working Mobile app, mobile, m-learning industry is preferred.
4. Instructional design skills and strong interest in cutting-edge web development and social technologies.
5. Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML, PHP, ASP.NET, Oracle SQL, MySQL, Microsoft web server admin, Node.js etc
6. Ability to develop native mobile applications for iOS (Objective C), Android (Java) and/or Windows Phone 8 (C and C ++)
7. Knowledge of learning solution design and development, models, and tools.
8. Excellent verbal, written and facilitation communication skills in English and Cantonese, proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
9. Critical thinker with demonstrated creative problem solving skills.
10. Strong customer service skills.
11. Ability to track tasks to completion and ensure that they are carried out properly.
12. Able to work in a multidisciplinary environment and be a good team player.
13. Desire for personal and professional development.
