Responsibilities:

• Work with Technical Managers and a team of application engineers, technical service engineers and lab technicians to perform R&D lab work to develop new products of specialty additives for electronic applications.  
• Conduct experiments on chemical formulation, material testing and characterization, process optimization.
• Support customer field trials of new chemical processes.  
• Work with test labs to conduct competitive analysis and benchmark work.
• Assist QC and lab chemists with customer sample testing and trouble shooting.

Requirements: 

• University degree or diploma in Electro Chemistry, Organometallics, Applied Chemistry, or Organic Chemistry.  Candidates with lower qualification but solid relevant industrial experience will be also considered.   
• Hands-on experience in electroplating (formulation and application) will be definitely an advantage.
• Good knowledge of electronic packaging industry (e.g. PCB, connector, lead frame).
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Good language skills, including English (written and spoken) and Chinese (Mandarin). 
• Able and willing to work under pressure and meet tight project timelines. 
• A self-starter, who is independent and motivated.
