Education & Working Experience

• Diploma/High Diploma/Degree/Master holder in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing/Product Engineering, Product/Industrial Design/Innovation or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years working experience of product development/engineering/design in kitchen item (Appliance/Gadget/Cookware) or personal care item (Appliance) or related industry
• Applicant with more experiences may consider as Senior grade 

Requirements

• Proficiency in 3D and 2D modelling software: Creo(or Solidworks, Rhino), AutoCAD
• Good in product rendering/editing/presentation software: Keyshot, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft PPT or Good in Microsoft Office for preparing product presentation/research PPT, test report, analysis document/excel file 
• Capable of free hand design or digital sketching design 
• Knowledge on product manufacturing, product/prototype test method & evaluation, plastic molding, electrical & electronic component, electrical safety standard 
• Video editing skill (e.g. Power director, iMovie)  are an advantage
• Aggressive on product innovation, a strong will to make things difference and better
• Creative, strong curiosity with analytical mind, good in problem solving, result oriented
• Strong commercial design sense, able to multi-tasking and work independently
• Good at communication, visual presentation and storytelling
• Love a fast paced environment and work efficiently
• Work as well as a great team player who enjoy working closely together with multi-discipline teams and end users, and view success as a team effort
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Travel to China Office is required for 1-2 days per week

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Product development from conceptual design to production
  Manage multi-projects to meet deadlines
• Report to the team manager, responsible to collaborating with designers, engineers, different department and vendors in support of new product development
  • Market research / Patents search / Material & surface finishing research
  • Benchmark samples analysis
  • New ideation (Brainstorming / concept sketch)
  • Technical problem solving /Product industrial design
  • Preparing 3D design drawings / Prototype evaluation
  • Making concept presentations in multimedia format and PowerPoint
• Regular updates on global product /technology/ colours trends and able to apply on new product design
• Lead and guide junior engineers/designers under tight schedule
• Conduct training workshops, brainstorming sessions and ideation activities
