Department: Inflight Services (Dragonair)
Reports to: Assistant Manager - Catering Costing and Administrative Support

We are looking for an individual to assume the role of Catering Support and Projects Officer. He/she will provide support in projects which aim at improving operational efficiency and/or providing better catering services to internal and external users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist and support Integrated Catering Solution, ICATS, on all project related work and activities, such as participation in meetings, workshops, review of project documents and evaluation of vendors’ proposals
• Understand business needs of users and assist to collect and document detailed business requirements for developing future systems
• Coordinate with all business users in KA ISD, other departments and caterers to participate in defining functional and non-functional requirements, writing use cases, data migration and user acceptance test
• Assist and prepare system user guides and provide onsite training to internal and external users worldwide
• Handle enquiry from internal and external users during implementation
• Support routine operations of the department
• Assist and support other sections of the department when required
• Assist and support all other systems development and maintenance in KA ISD and coordinate with both internal and external users

Requirements:

• Diploma or above preferably in Computing, Information System or Business analysis related fields
• Minimum 3 years working experience of which 2 years in airline catering or related industry
• Proven experience in project management
• Experience in managing airline system an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese; good command of Mandarin
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and Chinese Word Processing) and using query tools
