Our potential customer is now looking for the "Database Specialist"

The Job

• Responsible for DB installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, patching, backup and restore activities
• Act as subject matter expert in DB to support IT and project requirements
• Manage DB in areas of security compliance and capacity planning
• Participate in incident/after office hours support to provide speedy service recovery, subsequent root cause analysis and implementation of improvement actions
• Maintain technical and reference documents

The Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline
• 4 to 6 years DBA relevant experience
• Hands-on experience in Oracle Database (Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g)
• Familiar with UNIX/Linux OS
• Track record of project management and people coaching
• Able to self learn new DB features and work under pressure
• Willing to work in different hours if required
• Reasonable command of spoken and written English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus

Candidate possesses below requirements will be advantages

• Oracle certified professional
• Knowledge in DataGuard, RAC, RMAN, Grid control, GoldenGate
• Understand telecom/mobile IT business environment

Candidate with less experience will also be considered.
