A client is currently seeking a high calibre candidate for the following position:

Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement test plans, platforms and fixturing for  new products
• Provide data driven recommendations for improvement
• Work closely with Engineering Department to support new production introduction activities
• Actively participate in design failure mode and effects analysis
• Conduct process failure mode and effects analysis
• Disposition internal Non-conformances, complete NCR reports, and activities
• Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues; review SCAR responses
• Maintain legacy platforms, version control and archive product specifications
• Write ECOs, functional specs and work instructions
• Provide training to staff and create manuals and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder in Electronic / Electrical Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or related disciplines
• At least 6 years of experience in electronics manufacturing and test or 10 years of direct experience
• Knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies and RF testing
• Experience with molding processes and lean manufacturing
• Experience with writing and maintaining automated test code (LabView preferred)
• Experience with PCB and PCBA manufacturing and test processes
• Experience with risk analysis and process validation methods
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and Chinese
• Experienced & in-depth knowledge in SMT, mechanical assembly, soldering, cleaning processes, etc.

• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and effectively communicate technical solutions
• Ability to clearly document test results, configuration parameters, process and training materials
• Ability to read and comprehend AV system drawings, specifications and technical manuals
• Ability to effectively present information to customers and vendors
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills as well as attention to detail
• The ability to program tools and scripts for automated software testing
• Travelling is required
