Overview:

As a System Support and Network Administrator based in Hong Kong, you will be responsible to administer and execute prompt and diligent technical support on IT hardware, software and corporate networks/servers under company guidance. In addition, you will carry out routine checks on operating system/servers to ensure security of data and to identify potential risks proactively. The ideal System Support and Network Administrator will possess a high degree of compliance, amicable organizational, prioritization and communication skills along with the required technical expertise to meet the expectations of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide and administer technical support, installation, administration, backup, troubleshooting on IT hardware, software and corporate network/servers as requested/guided by IT Supervisor
• Carry out all required configurations and installations for desktop, phone, operating systems, peripheral support (i.e. printers etc); including the provision of remote connectivity assistance (if needed)
• Administer IT systems are following the established policies, standards and proper licensing of all software, and warranty of all hardware
• Administer the monitor system performance and perform system tuning or enhancements to ensure optimal use of system resources
• Carry out quarterly audit checks and/or evaluations on current, new or required IT operating solutions (i.e. servers,networks, etc)
• Assist in outsourcing of IT support and services, procurement and inventory needs
• Assist in any ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by supervisor

Requirements/ Qualifications:

• Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent; any IT or Project Management certification will be advantageous
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferably with experience specialising in IT/Computer- network, systems, database administration; IT/Computer - software or equivalent
• Hand on experience in Microsoft, Java, SQL, Oracle or other related management systems will be advantageous
• Good interpersonal prioritization and communication skills with fluency in English,Mandarin and/or Cantonese; 
• Strong analytical, problem solving skills with amicable customer service
• Able to handle multiple assignments and tasks concurrently
• A self-motivator, team player and able to work independently
