Job Description:

• Collect business requirements and understand operations and systems.
• Translating the requirements into workable models.
• Determining the potential solutions and testing them for both technical and business compatibility.
• Lead development team in the Design, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition Phases  
• Provide leadership to the development team by taking development lead role as required.
• Create and manage development work plan to track all project deliverables and communicate development status within the broader technology team. 
• Planning a testing schedule for completing the system operations
• Work with support teams to resolve production issues and plan new development efforts.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of the full Systems Development Life Cycle (Requirements, Analysis, Design, Build, Test, and Implementation). Working knowledge of Agile Life Cycle Development Model is a plus.
• Ability to develop documentation, white papers and presentations to all levels of management and technical staff.
• Experience building portal applications
• Experience in Website development experience   
• Working knowledge of Java,  Linux/Apache/Tomcat or other Application Servers and Portlet development.
• Knowledge in one or more of the following will be an advantage
• Directory services, Single sign-on (LDAP, AD, Identity Management)
• Druple
• XML, XSD, XSLT, HTML
• Spring, (otFlex, Hibernate, EJB, J2EE
• SQL Database programming - SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
• Eclipse

• Modx
• CodeIgnitor
