Responsibilities

Regional IT Business Intelligence and Pricing consultant (Freelance/Consultant)

Contract

  • Monthly contract based (Freelance / Consultant)

Report to

  • IT SSC & Asia Area Countries Coordination Director

  • Analyzing business processes, Proposing KPI reports and Studying data warehouse interfaces to commercial and financial legacy systems, …
  • Supporting CRM system : Customer segmentation, Promotion engine, Promotion performance reports, …
  • Skills on Microstrategy – support questions from countries
  • Supporting Pricing projects across the region

Governance

  • Control Regional Application map on his domain
  • Support countries business strategy
  • Push to improve IT maturity
  • Enforce project methodology to country IT
  • Ensure project delivery (progress, quality, time, and cost)
  • Support Group synergy
  • Adhere to IT strategy in prioritizing and selecting projects
  • Optimize countries internal processes
  • Organize domain team workload, forecast future workload
  • Ensure that business provides key business users, project managers and sponsors
  • Facilitate application training and education to end users
  • Encourage team to promote effective system usage to business users
  • Build team expertise and knowledge for standard business model, specific business processes in Carrefour, and applications used in domain

Communication

  • Lead internal team meetings
  • Facilitate communication between IT departments
  • Liaise with business managers, Asia IT, Group, and vendors
  • Report project progress and Escalate sensitive or unresolved issues to Project Committees
  • Participate to weekly meeting, Project committees and Steering committees
  • Lead meetings with business and vendors on specific projects
  • Keep tight communication with vendor from procurement until hand-over.

Application Management

  • Acts as product owner for applications related to his project
  • Ensure proper hand-over to Country IT team (training, help desk, processes…)
  • Act as level 3 support between country support team (level 2) and vendor (level 4)
  • Key PIC in escalation procedure

Budget

  • Support IT Asia Director / Country IT director and PMO to build, plan and track budget
  • Follow-up project budget
  • Avoid deviations at project line level
  • Report budget consumption to project steering committee and Regional IT management

Procurement

  • Train & support Country PM to follow procurement procedures
  • Communicate with vendors on major issues on support escalation or contract negotiation
  • Supervise SLA best practice and monitoring
  • Contact for vendor key account managers and sales force
  • Support contract writing, renew
  • Supervise country team member to monitor and follow up full cycle of procurement process, i.e. RFP to invoice payment.
  • Meet each key vendor account manager and ensure good communication
  • Carefully review each project and maintenance contract to ensure Scope of Works, cost, SLA, payment terms, etc.
  • Support country project manager in case of blocking issue on contract negotiation or payment

HR

  • Ensure resource availability, supervise recruitment
  • Ensure team training
  • Identify potential risk of turnover and discuss management for anticipation and mitigation
  • Identify development or training required for team member and propose
  • Initiate recruitment and support interview of new/replacement team member

 

Requirements :

Customer Relationship Management(CRM) / Business Intelligence(BI):

  • At least 6 years of working experience
  • Experience at retailer or manufacturer in CRM and BI is preferred
  • Experience on implementing BI systems: Analyzing business processes, Proposing KPI reports and Studying data warehouse interfaces to commercial and financial legacy systems, …
  • Experience on implementing CRM system : Customer segmentation, Promotion engine, Promotion performance reports, …
  • Skills on Microstrategy, or any Reporting tools
  • Skills on SAS, or any Analytical tools
  • Can be IT background: bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information System
  • Or can be business background: supply chain operations
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple international projects. Certification (PMP) is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Must be fluent in English: English speaking work environment, with international teams and vendors. Mandarin and Cantonese are an advantage.
