About the Department
The Group Strategy and International Management function supports the Group’s corporate and strategic planning and hold the responsibility for providing management oversight to the Bank’s overseas banking subsidiaries and branches. We are focused on enabling the sustainable growth of our international business by deepening and entrenching stakeholder relationships across our network.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support Brand and Communications Head on the development and implementation of brand and strategic communications strategies
  • Develop and implement brand and strategic communications initiatives to enhance the organisation's brand awareness and reputation
  • Provide local governance on brand, marketing and strategic communications
  • Facilitate strategic communications through different internal and external channels such as intranet, website and social media
  • Develop corporate collateral contents such as customer & marketing communications, website, brochure, video and advertisement and ensure all are accurate and updated at all times
  • Generate press-related materials such as news release and corporate announcement, and provide contents for internal and external communications purposes
  • Support liaison and relationship engagement with various internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to senior management, press, public, regulatory authorities, clients, government and political officials
  • Support Brand and Communications Head on corporate governance to ensure the operations in line with the pre-set strategic direction
  • Actively manage and/or participate in new brand and communications initiatives and activities, and follow through and monitor the implementation
  • Conduct market research and ongoing monitoring on the competitive environment to facilitate business strategy formation and planning
  • Support Corporate Social Responsibilities initiatives and organisation of corporate events

Job Requirements

  • University Degree holder in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or equivalent
  • At least 8 years’ related working experience in sizable multinational organisations, banking industry is preferred
  • Experience in project and event management is preferred
  • Detail-oriented, highly result-oriented, able to work and manage project independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and good business acumen
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and problem solving
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin is a plus
