Job title:  Regional Marketing - Assistant Manager

 

The Role:

 

As Regional Marketing Assistant Manager, you’ll optimize the global brand communications strategy for the APAC region and ensure excellence of execution and brand consistency through distributor partners (managing directly where relevant). In collaboration with the global marketing team, this role will manage all bought, owned and earned communications for the region, helping drive the brand to new levels of growth.

 

You’ll help develop and implement a full programme of above and below the line support for our APAC distributor network, monitoring the effectiveness and efficiency of the FitFlop marketing plans and contractual spends on a seasonal basis.  You’ll also create and assist in the planning and implementing of the marketing calendar to drive footfall and in-store spend, across both physical and digital channels. Through an in depth understanding of the FitFlop consumer (and how it differs in certain markets), the role will support great product ranges and brand building initiatives by helping to develop innovative marketing activities, launch programmes and brand activation events. 

 

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Lead the regionalisation of the global brand campaign for local market execution.
  • Work with Global and APAC Marketing team to set brand & marketing KPIs and monitor effectiveness and ROI accordingly on local activations.
  • Identify APAC marketing communications needs (Advertising, PR, Social Marketing) by season, gathering input from distributor partners and regional sales team and inputting to the Global Marketing team sufficiently in advance to influence both sell-in and sell-out plans
  • Work with all distributors to create, improve and implement strategic marketing plans (including advertising media plans, influencer marketing & seeding programs, PR, social & activation events) for the FitFlop brand in both online and offline channels
  • Manage brand and PR creative requests & briefs from distributors and work with Creative Studio to provide on time, on budget communication content for local activations
  • In charge and manage APAC marketing budget planning and investment including negotiation of marketing investment in distributor markets; Maintaining the local budget trackers and conduct invoices auditing for accounting purposes.
  • Work with distributors to monitor competitor marketing activity within their country, in conjunction with the APAC Heads of Sales.
  • Brand Guardianship - Act as brand guardian for all brand exposure and communications in APAC region.
  • Day-to-day marketing management of APAC distributors/markets.
  • Maintain key metrics reports & guideline documents (i.e. campaign metrics, door count, training manual, best practices).
  • Marketing support as requested.

 

The Person

  • A graduate or equivalent with a communications, marketing or related discipline degree or similar, preferably overseas education.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in international consumer brand, ideally from fashion retail or footwear, preferably with overseas experiences.
  • Candidate with brand principal or subsidiary background would be advantageous.
  • Comfortable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, must have the ability to work under constant deadline pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels within the business and externally as you will work closely with our distributors worldwide, agencies, sales/logistics teams and directly with senior marketing team members, regionally and globally
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • International travel required
