Job Description

THE GIG (Summary of the Role)

This incumbent will play a vital role to support the AsiaPac region during the prep, go-live and immediate after-care of ERP implementation project within the region, partnering with HR to ensure that all the people changes are managed effectively. 

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART (Responsibilities)

  • Lead on the Change Impact Assessment (CIA), supporting the Business Process Owners and Workstream leads to identify the impacts on our people and processes
  • Work closely with anyone impacted by the project identifying and implementing activities to best support them through any change, mitigating impacts and bringing them with us on this exciting journey.
  • Develop, support and champion all project communication aligned to the Dr Martens culture and global communication templates & strategies.
  •  Lead the Training workstream in region with support from the Global Training function, to Include - facilitating the training needs analysis, coordinating training materials development and planning the training roll out
  • Partner with the programme lead, project manager, leadership committee and UK based Head of Change, Communication and Learning, leading the roll out of the training programme for Project
  • Partner with HR, for managing any people related changes identified throughout the project. This may include drafting job descriptions, providing role clarity, or could result in recruiting efforts to hire talent to support implementation or on a more permanent basis.
  • Coach and support managers to build on their people management skills to get the best out of their teams through this change.

YOUR FUNDAMENTAL QUALITIES (Requirements)

  • 8 years of experience on a similar project or within a similar context
  • Demonstrated knowledge of change management best practice
  • Great coaching skills, with the ability to support and motivate people and managers through any people change
  • A confident communicator, resilient and adaptable, and ready to embrace and support regular and ongoing change
  • Confidence and credibility to take the lead and challenge or influence when necessary
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel & PowerPoint
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization with a project mentality

Successful candidate will be deployed on 1-year contract basis,with the possibility of renewal or conversion subject to project life cycle and satisfactory performance.
