Overview

As a Graphic Designer - based in Hong Kong, you will be expected to demonstrate a good comprehension and understanding of the Company’s product and features when creating original graphics and illustration with various styles for both internal and external stakeholders. You will also be expected to demonstrate a professional and customer-orientated approach when managing design requests and specifications to meet desired objectives. The ideal Graphic Designer will possess solid experience in graphic design with license artworks in design application softwares. He/she has ability to function independently and work cohesively in a team to translate business requests into creative designs.

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and design original graphic concepts and illustrations to bring our customers’ brands and products to life
• Create artworks can be applied to a range of mediums

• Turn ideas into clear and informative visual designs

• Create vector art from scratch in a timely manner
• Create visually pleasing mood boards for specific design projects, which clearly demonstrate design direction, intended target group, usage environment, etc
• Use of digital assets accurately such as logos, photography and 3rd party licensing artworks
• Taking projects from concept to production and produce high quality concepts for presentation
• Provide accurate and complete instructions to printers, suppliers. Liaise and coordinate external stakeholders
• Work in a team and report to project lead with work-in-progress of all assigned projects
• Prepare the packaging of structural, poster, leaflet designs and any assigned work efficiently, accurately, and on schedule to ensure due dates are met
• Conduct and oversee all photo, video shoots and related post production for a wide range of products; manage and organise corporate visual content and library assets
• Evaluate and review designs for errors before printing or publishing
• Stay up-to-date with new and trending design information, techniques and software
• Ad hoc involvements in print production, templates, marketing kits, displays and any other request from design and/or management team

Qualification/Requirements 

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in graphic design or relevant field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience and have a proven record of creative execution
• Proficient in design application software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, etc). Experience with Sketchbook Pro is an advantageous
• Solid experience with license artworks (e.g., Disney, Nickelodeon)
• Strong understanding of branding and adhere to brand guidelines
• Strong conceptual development and visualization skills
• High sensitivity to current trends in design, urban street fashion, colours, designer toys and popular culture
• Strong drawing skills with the ability to illustrate with various styles
• A strategic thinker, creative with a good eye for design and able to deliver quality design solutions
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English, Mandarin, and/or Cantonese
• Multi-tasking, detail-oriented, strong organizational and time management skill
• Self-motivator, a team player and resourceful
