Job Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with design and European trim team for new development to fulfill their request on design and aesthetic
• Develop and source new trim material based on seasonal direction from design
• Ensure effective trim development with suppliers and clear communication with European trim team
• Continuous coaching trim suppliers to meet business needs on procedures, price, cost and aesthetic appearance
• Strategic sourcing and development in order to hit time line, price target, and quality requirement
• Support innovation, trend research, and market intelligence sharing with the divisions
• Weekly trim report generation and ensure PLM system update and record keeping
• Seasonal trim board preparation
• Trim data sheet review and finalize materials details, prices, surcharges, lead times and order/color minimums
• Risk assessment and monitor trim supplier to arrange precaution test and provide solution
• Coordinate with brand direction and follow up project as assigned
• Seasonal travel for trim sourcing and supporting design input trip

Job Requirements: 

• Degree in related disciplines is preferred
• At least 7 years’ experience on relevant industry with 5 years' experience at Trim Merchandiser/Developer level
• Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and strong negotiation skill
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Literate in Microsoft office programs
• Knowledge of PLM system is an advantage
• Occasional travel is required
