Our client is a MNC looking for a Quant IT Developer with strong C# background to join their HK team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop applications used for pre-trade pricing, parameter management & historical analysis for Equity Derivatives Trading desks in APAC.
• Develop new features in C#, SQL, KDB within a distributed environment
• Sit on the trading desk, working closely with trader and quant stakeholders
• Communicate with traders to translate discussions into requirements
• Responsible for pre trade analytic development, help quant’s to smooth their pricing model
• Engage with the business to understand new initiatives, ideas and issues
• Support & maintain applications and platform

Requirements:

• Numerate bachelor Degree holder or above
• Strong C# .NET Expert (LINQ, WinForms, WCF, Threading, COM)
• Excellent knowledge of UX, SQL (SQL Server preferred), Agile
• Able to design Front Office System
• Equity Derivatives kowledge, including working knowledge of implied volatility, parameter management, vanilla option characteristics, pricing of flow and exotic products, scenario analysis, backtesting
• KDB+ / Q, VBA/Excel, Vendor, Quant, or algorithmic trading & execution development experience preferred.
• Able to communicate independently with traders, prioritise and deliver features early
• Excellent written and spoken English
