Job Description

A well-recognized retail Group is looking for a dynamic leader to oversee the sales and marketing function. Incumbent will report directly to Executive Director with core responsibilities on retail performance, business & operations analysis, planning and implementation of sales & marketing strategies, merchant relationship, brand image and identify new business opportunities towards corporate objectives.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

Business Development and Strategies

  • Formulate, plan and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives
  • Explore, analyze and identify new business opportunities for the long-term growth of the Group
  • Provide proactive sales and marketing directions to grow existing businesses, extend customers and partners base whilst maintaining quality standards
  • Review regularly the Group’s key competencies, its positioning, business partners, target customers, services provided and customer needs

 Daily Operation and Management of the Sales & Marketing function

  • Monitor the day-to-day operations and resolve issues
  • Drive changes to improve operational processes and procedures to optimize cost-effectiveness, resources allocation and ensure the compliance of relevant legal requirements
  • Formulate and review the annual plan and financial budget for supporting long-term strategies of the Group

 Corporate Branding and Culture

  • Actively support the Group’s vision and core values and cooperate with different internal parties in achieving the Group’s goals and objectives
  • Lead the team to build a strong brand image and increase market awareness, competitiveness and market share of the Group

 

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Marketing, Business Management or other related disciplines
  • A strong track record of strategic management experience. At least 10 years of experience in a similar or equivalent managerial position in retail industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership skills and organizational abilities
  • A dynamic and proactive character to review the operations. Strong analytical, decision making and executional skills.
  • Strong business acumen and market knowledge with an extensive connection in the retail industry
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
