Responsibilities:

• Assist the Managers in monitoring vessels adherence with statutory requirements and company policies related to environment management of ships.
• Compiling data and maintaining records for various pollution related parameters such as air emission, water pollution, etc
• Compiling and maintaining data of various pollutant equipment of ships and other documentation such as Environmental audits, etc.
• ISO 14001 documentation control and audits follow up as directed by ECM / ECD.
• To keep a tab on new Environmental worldwide incentives such as ESI, cold ironing.
• Other Ad hoc assigned. 

Requirements:

• Marine engineer with Class IV or Class II or sailing as deck officer on board (preferred) or
• Degree in Environmental Science or science stream
• 2 years or above working experience in marine industry
• Good communication skills in writing and speaking English
• Sound knowledge in Excel formulae, pivot tables, charts, making power points
