Job Description 

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the incumbent is responsible for assisting the Department Head/Accounting Officer to ensure the school has an effective finance function to meet all internal and external accounting reporting requirements.   

• Assist to upkeep an effective Finance system and internal control mechanism
• Maintain Accounts Payable function to take care of expenses, claims, payments, accrual, prepayment and reimbursement entries
• Timely checking and inputting all invoices and perform payment per payment schedule.
• Intercompany balance reconciliations, Balance Sheet schedules and reports
• Assist in preparing and submitting cashflow forecast
• Perform bank reconciliation closely with Accounts Receivable team
• Maintain Fixed Asset Registrar and identify areas of improvement
• Assist in budget control and work closely with Procurement
• Ad hoc assignments as required by supervisors from time to time

Job Requirement  

• Degree holder or higher diploma in Accounting, Finance or related business disciplines
• Minimum 2 years of work experiences in accounts payable
• Knowledge and proficient in Accounting software
• Qualified HKICPA or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, time management and negotiation skills
• Strong computer literacy skills such as MS Office Word and Excel
• Proficient in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Work in an Education Institution is an advantage
• Attention to details, flexible and a good team player
