Our Client is inviting applications for a 12-month contract role as per the following requirements:

Principal responsibilities

• Assist Finance Project Lead to prepare and review accounting model and schema in accordance with accounting rules/standards on trade finance products
• Manage all stages in project life cycle from project initialization to project closure
• Responsible for the co-ordination and communication with Project team and finance users Explain the user requirements to Project and IT team for development or new features
• Act as facilitator to follow up with impacted team members to ascertain that all issues are
• addressed, and necessary clearance are obtained
• Validate testing result by performing detailed checking in accounting entries and/or reports and provide UAT sign-off on behalf of finance usersEnsure consistency of Finance systems/reports, in adherence to the Global Finance standards/policies
• Prepare meeting presentation and project updates regularly to senior management and finance users
• Build and maintain a trusted relationship with all project stakeholders across different functions (Finance users, IT, Transformation and System teams)

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Administration or related disciplines with over 8 years of working experience in banking industry
• Strong project management experience preferably one with global reach and with trade finance product knowledge is preferred Extensive financial analytics and project planning experience gained from International Banks /Financial Institutions
• Understand the project objective and ensure all user requirements are properly captured
• Proven ability to deliver high quality analysis, recommend solutions, challenge issues with a critical mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and business acumen
• Knowledge on Trade Finance products and workflow is preferred
