Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform supervisory duties on Time Deposit Section including all deposit transactions such as early termination, funding control etc.
• Perform checker functions on HKICL related transactions such as inward and outward clearings, batch cheques etc.
• Assist Department Head by recommend actions and plans on improvement upon changes of regulations and requirements from HKMA, HKAB and other statuary or compliance bodies
• Administer the batch cheque for the whole branch according to the established rules, procedures and customer’s needs
• Support Cash Administration Teller as back up to supervise counter services delivery

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree holder
• At least 6 years relevant experience in Cash / Deposit Operations with 4 years in supervisory level
• Experience in payments (e.g. CHATS / TT) and good understanding of Deposit Protection Scheme
• Practical experience in HK Clearing House rules & practice
• Familiar with HKMA’s AML compliance requirement on account transaction monitoring
• Good command of English and Chinese
• Hands-on PC knowledge
